Overview

The National Fund for Workforce Solutions seeks to improve employment, training, and labor market outcomes for low-income individuals. The Fund’s support will improve both the quality of jobs and the capacity of workers by promoting change at three levels: individual, institution, and system. The result: better jobs, better workers, and a better workforce development system.

The Fund is a new national funding intermediary. Its investors will capitalize this effort with $30 million to $50 million, which the Fund will use both to increase the number of local and regional workforce partnerships and to expand the scale of existing partnerships.
